Basketball & Cheerleading

For over 70 years, the Parochial league schools in the Diocese of Syracuse have competed against each other in basketball. The league has looked different over the years, but the good news is that we are gearing up for another exciting season!

Basketball

Open to Grades 3-6

  • Season runs Nov. 11 - February. 

  • Practice 2x per week. 

  • Sunday games and occasional Friday games. 



Team plan: Upper and Lower teams

(assistant coaches will be invited by head coach)

BOYS

  • Boys A1 - 6th grade (Coach-Steve Cimino)

  • Boys A2 - 5th Grade (Coach Matt Dekay)

  • Boys B1 - 3rd/4th Grade (Coach Chris Paulus)

  • Boys B2 - 3rd/4th Grade (Coach Andrew Bagley)


GIRLS

  • Girls A1 - 6th Grade (Coach Pat Kilmartin)

  • Girls A2 - 5th Grade (Coach Kevin Kuehner)

  • Girls B - 3rd/4th (Coach Shawn Chase)

Cheerleading

Join your Holy Cross Cheer Squad! (Grades 1-6)

The 24-25 Parochial League begins mid-November, and our pep rally is Friday, December 6! We need to know who is planning on cheerleading this year so that we can get practicing! Practices will be twice a week, times to be determined.

If your child would like to participate, please complete the registration form by Friday, November 1.
